Pedro was a PostDoc at the CRC 1456 Infrastructure project (INF) from 2022 to 2024, under the supervision of Christoph Lehrenfeld and Dr. Markus Osterhoff.
Work at the INF project
Pedro’s work was related to the promotion of open and accessible research throughout the CRC 1456 projects, acting on several fronts:
- Research Data Management (RDM) support – helping CRC members manage and publish research data using GRO.data and GRO.publications
- LiveDocs platform – developing tools to make research publications accessible as interactive online environments, allowing reproducibility and reusability of research findings; also maintaining CRC 1456 BinderHub servers
- Workshops and training – designing and presenting workshops on Gitlab, CI/CD, Docker, and LiveDocs for CRC members and the general audience at events such as MaRDI Barcamp and FDM@Campus
Outcomes
A white paper on the LiveDocs platform, describing its development and potential contributions to open science, is in preparation. The preprint can be found here. LiveDocs showcases are collected in the LiveDocsRepo website.
