Parajal was a Master’s student in the Institute for Numerical and Applied Mathematics at the University of Göttingen. Her thesis was based on Model Order Reduction of incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. For faster computation of POD modes, a sophisticated hierarchical POD method (HAPOD) was implemented. Snapshots were collected from an H(div)-HDG discretisation of unsteady Navier-Stokes equations. A novel approach based on H(div) space decomposition was implemented to compute reduced velocity and reduced pressure. She is now at TU Eindhoven.
