Malte Thumann

I am a physics master's student specialising in theoretical biophysics and a student assistent supervised by Christoph Lehrenfeld. In my thesis I am working on discretisation schemes for partial differential equations that arise in a stochastic optimal control model for the optimal navigation of finite-size microswimmers in noisy flow. I am also invovled in the project 'Shape optimisation of gyroids'.
