I am a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Christoph Lehrenfeld. My research focuses on the high-order numerical methods and analysis for geometrically coupled PDEs on time-dependent manifolds with mean curvature flow. The methods are based on isoparametric unfitted finite element discretization on level-set domains. A main challenge arises from the nonlinear coupling between the geometric flow and the solution of PDEs posed on the evolving geometry. Some examples of the application are osmotic swelling of biological cells, two-phase bubble flows, etc.
